How We Roll: Construction

After your consultation, you will receive an estimate for design hours based on the scope of your project.  Once the estimate and contract are signed and we receive a deposit, we can kickoff your project!

In this stage, we create an in-depth scope of work, floorplans, and detailed drawings as needed. We use these as communication tools with all trades involved throughout the project so we all remain on the same page. Next, we schedule site walks with contractors and/or vendors necessary to collect work estimates and review those estimates for accuracy and budget alignment.

This is the fun & pretty part where you and your designer get to play with materials and select all the goodies! This step often overlaps with the planning stage, so we can obtain accurate bids based on materials selected. In this phase, your designer will upload all of your estimates and materials into our client portal for final approval. When everything has been formally approved, a specification package will be created.

Now that we’ve ironed out all the final details and permits have been issued, materials can be purchased, and vendors and contractors can be hired. You will be hiring your contractor and vendors directly. Construction dates will be coordinated based on material ETA’s.

Finally! Now we get to see some real action! Once all of the materials have been delivered, it’s time to start construction! We will collaborate with your contractor to guide your project from start to finish, attending regular onsite progress checks and troubleshooting any issues that arise until your project is complete and your vision has come to life!
